Premium I-485 Filing

Hi Gurus, I am just curious to know if there is premium I-485 filing? or premium only applies to I40?

There is no premium I-485 processing currently.

There never has been any PP of I-485 cases at any time in the past and I don't think it will ever be offered, given the huge backlog of cases that USCIS has. The introduction of PP for I-485 would likely lead to regular cases "never" being adjudicated.

An additional difficulty is that the required security checks can take longer than any likely PP time frame and there is no political appetite to compromise on those checks or improve the efficiency of the process.

gotcha excuse my ignorance on the process. explains why it takes times.
