485 and Marriage

Gurus,

I know this has been asked many many times before, but I still cant find conclusive information, so here goes:

My PD is Dec 14 2007. I'm anticipating my PD will be current in the Dec bulletin. I plan to marry in March and my fiance is in India. She is getting a company transfer in March to the US via a L-1 visa. She cant push her company to get an offer and move earlier.

Is it reasonable to:
1. Postpone my filing of I-485 until we both are in US and then apply for our 485 together (if the dates are still current) ?
2. Is it recommended that I file in Dec as soon as I become current, and hope they dont approve my case until March when we I can file her's separately?

Or is there any other way out of this without messing up our chances?

As far as I know you can file AOS of your wife as dependent of EB anytime before your GC get approve condition to your PD should be current at the time of filing. Once your GC is approved than you have to take FB route for your wife AOS.

I would suggest you to contact lawyer and find out.

Just curious how much time does it take to bring a Spouse once 485 is approved.

I have applied for my 485 and planning to go to India as soon as i get my AP & EAD and get married.

Check the F2A category in the visa bulletin. For India it is 22Mar09.
