Guidelines:
- Provide objective data, facts, and opinions/analysis based on data and facts. Clearly state when opinion is not backed by data.
- Refrain from political viewpoints - American or otherwise.
Rules:
- Be respectful of ALL immigrant groups irrespective of their country category or economic or legal status.
- Be respectful of other forum members.
- Share your own independent view to the forum. Refrain from using forum as a propaganda tool
- No SPAM PORN or any kind of advertisements PLEASE.

Q - I think we should allow folks to provide opinions based on facts provide. So may be guideline 1 should be

Same with other moderators. Please feel free to make a change to the original post.
I am also split on which of those above are rules vs guidelines. In my mind - a guideline is just that. We leave it to the forum participant to then adhere to it. But a rule is something that the forum participants must follow. Non-adherence could invite punitive action from moderators.
So having said that - if you think certain rules should be more like guidelines OR vice versa, then please move them around as well.
