Hi,

I got an email from USCIS saying that my card has been sent to production and very next day it moved back to "Post Decision Activity": You application has been approved and we have sent you the document.

I called USCIS and asked them what and where they have sent. they said it's my green card and they cannot tell which address they mailed it to due to security reasons.

I had moved to a different address after I had applied my GC. my I-485, Biometrics notices all went to my Company address. I never filed any AR-11 by my own, In My I-485 receipt/ Biometric letter it has my lawyer address [company address] and it was sent to him, later he forwarded it to me.

Does this mean that my GC will also be sent to my company address?
or will it go to the Old Address and be returned to USCIS?

Also my company had moved from its location during the time they filed my GC to a different location. When asked them how they receive docs that were filed at old address my HR personel said that they notify USCIS [I am not sure how].

I have applied my Wife's I-485 now, I will surely use the AR-11 to correct the address to my home address.

Thanks,
Ted

tedtom,
Unless updated later(AR-11), GC will be delivered to the address you have provided to USCIS in Section I of your original i485.

After 30 days of my I-485 approval my Green Card was sent to my lawyer. [Till now I had not received any documents to my home address all were sent to my company lawyer].

13-June-2011 --> "Card production" Status
15-June-2011 --> back to "Post Decision Activity", document has been sent.
18-June-2011 --> Lawyer got my welcome letter.
14-July-2011 --> Lawyer gets my Green Card package.

He has mailed it to me.. I am waiting for FedEx to delivery :)....

Now waiting for my Wife's Bio-metric.

Thanks,
Ted

Got the approval emails on Friday. I am taking an Infopass today to find out which address they have mailed the cards to.
I have recently moved (3 months ago) to a new address. Is there any way we can call and find out the tracking number ? If yes, can anyone provide the details ?
My friend's cards were sent to the old address even after confirming in Infopass that everything was up-to-date. He somehow got hold of the tracking number and was able to call the post office and they were able to track it down.

In my experience when you call USCIS, they will verify the address on file. If the first level person can't do it, ask to learn more status and they will transfer to second level and that person should verify the address as well as tell you which address cards have been sent to.
p.s. - if the cards are already sent and you haven't received them in a couple of days from sent date ... then they probably were sent to the old address. In my case I received them in 24 hours!
