Hello Friends,
Does anyone know of Indian health insurance coverage for senior citizens located in India (above age of 65)? I have tried the websites of Tata AIG, ICICI Lombard, etc but they seem to restrict coverage at 65 years.
Any inputs/experiences would be helpful...thanks!

Hey,
With my personal experience I will recommend you to go with Max Bupa health insurance. There is no age restriction in the health plans (http://www.maxbupa.com/foryouyourFamily.aspx) offered by them. This will help you get your parents insured. Currently, I have insured myself with one of their health plan named Heartbeat Family First which covers up to 13 relationships in the family i.e. you, your spouse, kids, parents, in-laws, etc. I am sure this will solve your concern.

Why don't you go on website of ICICI,HDFC or Max Newark or India Infoline ? India Infoline is a broking company over there where you can get information about all insurance related things and policies.

You can have a look at the special plan for senior citizen from Apollo Munich called "Optima Senior" at AMHI website.
Thanks.
