Hi All -

Posting this for a friend...

In the last step of the online N400 application, there is a question which says:

Additional evidence you want to provide
You can provide additional documents that support your application and help explain any of your responses on the application. If you want to provide additional evidence now, upload any documents below. You can also bring the documents to your naturalization interview.

If you don't upload anything and press continue, you get a warning that says:

You should provide evidence
If you do not provide evidence, your application processing may be delayed.

The application proceeds without any document, but the concern is with the phrase "should provide"

Any pointers would be most appreciated!

Thanks!

I too have seen that message. I have also checked with my friends and they said they just ignored the message and continued with the submission so did I. After submitting, I just get to think of what other documents that may be helpful here and think it could be the ones that the instruction says to bring it with you when they call for interview. Like Driver's License, Current Passport (like the non-blank pages) etc. depending on the situation. If your friend hasn't already submitted, then you can try sharing this info. I missed it though... looking for ways how can I add them now.
