I am current from April bulletin. However, yet to hear anything from USCIS.
Opened up SR on 4/7, which got closed on 4/16 with email that - we need more research regarding your inquiry about case taking too long !
Should i request Senator/Congressman's office yet ? or wait it out ?

I am creating this as a thread because a lot of people are anxious even after being current. So the generic advice is that for backlogged people if you are current, in 99.99% cases you will receive GC within 3 weeks. If not contact the senator/congressman by email.
Good luck and enjoy the freedom which is right around the corner.

Thanks Q. I'll stay put and be patient.
After waiting 10+ years, i guess anxiety comes in naturally. :)

Glad to update that today we got the 485 approval.
Last RFE was for Medical/SuppJ - Aug'18.
Thanks to all for their help over the years. I'll be around and will be happy to answer questions !

Congrats zenmaster. Enjoy the freedom.
See folks? Thats what I am saying. He got GC 7 days since being current. The reason is simple. He has been waiting for a decade or more and if USCIS had any issues they would have found them by now. So if you are backlogged and become current you will get GC like a clockwork within 3 weeks max.

Thanks Q.
Actually i was current since April bulletin. But i guess, Covid slowed things down a bit for approvals.
Good thing is, USCIS is working and approvals are coming.
Good luck and God speed to all that are waiting in line!

Thanks Zen. That's a good datapoint for people to remember.
During lockdown it is taking 2 weeks extra than normal.

Q/ZenMaster - My PD(EB2/ May 29) has been current since May 1. The last RFE for medicals & 485J was back in Oct 2018. I have not seen any movement so far with my case. Should I open up a service request. If so should I request the law firm to do it.
Also can you all please guide me on how to contact the Congressman/Senator. Thanks much for all the help.

I know its hard to hold on after waiting for years, but please wait for 3-5 weeks, before you initiate anything.
SRs always result in standard responses, and in my opinion do nothing to push the case.
Good luck. You should have your cases approved soon !

Q/Zenmaster - Finally my attorney office received our Green Cards today. It is such a relief that now I don't have to pay attention to every single immigration related tweet/news .
Q - I cannot thank you and Spec enough for maintaining this amazing forum. Sorry I am not as wise you or Spec when it comes to immigration numbers so I have just been a silent follower of this forum for several years now. Please continue with the awesome work that you all are doing. THANK YOU!!!

Congratulations. The feeling of freedom is amazing. I do get personal satisfaction every time somebody like you gets his/her freedom and thanks the forum (not me - because this has always been a collective effort).
It's ok even if you are a silent reader of the forum. As long as this discussion helps you, that's all I care about.

One question - Shouldn't they mail cards to applicants instead of attorney? Unless, your mailing address is attorney's address.
