Hi, My company is sponsoring only my H1 extension but I have to pay for H4 extensions of my family. I would like to know if there is an easy way to self-file H4 extensions (& EAD) for my wife and kid. If yes, it would be highlighy appreciable if someone shares the instructions.

Regards

H4-EAD is pretty straight forward. On the USCIS website, there are links to I-765 from and instruction set. Also attach the EAD approval stub that came around last time when the card was mailed.

But never filed the H4 extension directly. You can ask the Employer and their attorney to file H1 and H4 extensions together along with H4-EAD extension and offer to pay the fees for the EAD and the attorney charges just for that.
