RFE documentation

Hello gurus,
My I-485 is Eb2 India with 3/20/2009 PD. I received email / text updates that RFE is on the way.
I am planning to reply on my own. So I would like to know few things in terms of documentation.
1. Has someone responded on their own? What's the outcome?
2. Do I need to refer to a specific memo in my response?
3. Do I need to include the copy of such demo while sending the response? I knew folks used to include Yates 2001 memo on AC-21. Do we need to refer to the latest memo that came out in Mar from USCIS on same or similar classification etc?

Please advise. I may have additional questions once I receive RFE in hand.

You have not specified the nature of the RFE!! I think that will be useful. If it is a simple medical or EVL why would you need memos?

Sure, will do so once I get physical copy in mail. It's been more than a week since I am waiting to receive one.
