So let me see how people describe a stunning defeat in a world cup semi-final (as in today's defeat of Brazil by Germany by 7-1)?

Any thoughts?

Any thoughts?Ruthless Germans!!

Shame it wasn't a clean sheet for Neuer - I think it would have been a fair reflection.

Brazil were not a good side and have been quite fortunate to progress this far. Neymar's absence was not a factor, although they did miss Thiago Silva. The Brazilian defence was all over the place.

btw.. whats the worst World-cup semi-final loss?The worst I could find for a true semi-final was 6-1.

Fed. Rep. of Ger. - Austria 6-1 (Switzerland 1954)
Argentina - United States 6-1 (Uruguay 1930)
Uruguay - Yugoslavia 6-1 (Uruguay 1930)

I thought even Croatia was a good team.

Brazil did not really deserve to be in the semis. It should've been Columbia or Croatia or somebody else.

they weren't able to get by the Neymar absence although he wouldn't do much difference
Germans are relentless and they won't settle down if they found an opponent who is not fit.

I was quite sure Germans would go through but 7:1 never passed my mind.
the Brazil team currently playing is the worst since years, a deserved win for Germany
