Folks,

My PD is 5/2009.
I have changed jobs using EAD in Sep 2012 after waiting for 6 months of filing 485.
Previous employer filed I-140 for "Software Engineer" title(SOC code 15-1132), while the current job title is Database Analyst/Admin (SOC code 15-1141).
Technically, I was a java developer earlier and now a Oracle Developer/Administrator.
Do you guys think this change will be considered under AC21 (similar job)?
Your inputs/thoughts are appreciated, as it will help me make any decisions beforehand.

Thanks !

Hello Gurus,

My PD is 12/09 and I switched my job on EAD. I was asking my new employer to send a letter to USCIS staying my change if employment. They are saying that they only send form G-28 for attorney representation and won't send any other letter. They are saying I shouldn't send any letter as well stating my change of employment and if USCIS sends an rfe in future to confirm my employment since it's pay two years then they will respond and if USCIS won't send any response and just approve my GO then no need to notify any one. Died this sound right? I feel that's not a right approach and need to notify USCIS of any changes in my employment. Kindly advice.

Cool guy
I would say just stay put and dont inform USCIS, by changing employers u have already invoked AC21 . I myself changed multiple jobs on EAD and didnt inform USCIS of any job change. I got my GC last year without any RFE's.
Again it is a personal decision but from personal experience I would say just stay put and carry on with your new job.
