Hi,
I came to USA in June 2013 on H4 Visa, I want to Change my status to F1 and planning to visit india in May 2014?
1. I took admission in ITU,San Jose, Which recently got WASC Accredition. What are my chances for F1 Stamping in India?
2. If F1 gets denied can i come back on H4 again?
3. DO i need to give GRE as i have given only TOEFL exam n took admission for stamping.
Pls reply.
Thanks.

Welcome to forum. There is another thread on the same topic. You can get better insight there.
My best guess for your questions is:
#1 - Good regardless which college since you already have H4.
#2 - Yes. H4 doesnt get cancelled unless you commit fraud.
#3 - If you are already admitted - that's it. No GRE / GMAT / SAT etc required. Visa Officer doesn't care about that. What he does care is - how you are going to fund your education.

Hi Shweta,
Did you end up visiting India? If so what was your experience? My wife is in the same exact situation (studying in ITU and so on).
If you decided not to go could you share what you read or heard that changed your mind?
Thanks a lot.

Rahul,
There are multiple threads here that you can try to read. Unfortunately we haven't been quite diligent in keeping it all in one thread.
