Hello All,
I just suddenly got on this site and read all the posts. I came here illegally and after 15years was asked to come for an interview in August, 2013 but before now when I met my spouse we decided to contact cbp as to give the I-194 on the name that I came since I had the date and other Informations as suggested by my attorney. To my greatest surprise, after my August Interview, my Green Card arrived.
Barely one week later CBP wrote to me telling me about their decision on not being able to find the information and saying that I could not do anything concerning their decision to my request.
My point is, since I already have my Green Card, what do I do from here on? my attorney had assured me that there is no cause for my worries that the reply I got was due to the search we initially requested for during the time that we were filing for advance parole, work permit in Jaunary of 2013 to relax and continue with my life. I plan to travel during Christmas, do you guys think they may take my Green Card from me?
Do you guys think that I need to contact CBP with my Green Card again or leave it alone and has anyone been in this type of situation? I am so troubled!! Please reply urgently.
