while there are many factors why there is longest queue for EB based GC from india, India's poor economy is one of them.
I thought about writing a blog about it and to see what other's opinion is:
1. recently the rupee rate has plunged
2. growth rate is slow compared to other developing ( I would have preferred poor but didn't want to upset PC police) countries ( I don't see how it can improve with the current mindset and political climate there)
3. education is just as good and with IT, people can more easily develop skills and work and live in usa if given a chance.
4.already there are enough Indians in usa that almost every educated Indian knows about life and opportunities in usa.
so in our lifetime no matter how laws change here , there will be significant portion in India who wants to come here even if its for an year to save money.
of all the people who land vast majority like to stay back if they can.
of these almost all of them want GC.
