GRP and Indiani ... please keep the language civil. First of all Spec is Spec - not CO. Don't rail on him. Secondly, CO is just one guy in the system and for all you know he might be doing his best. We don't know. Criticism based on facts is good. But don't vent on him.

Spec - I think we have gone over this many times. You look at the historical SOFAD and tell me how many times EB2I has received sofad on a quarterly basis as opposed to at the end of year. So that's what I am talking about. Last year indeed there was sofad given in Q1 and possibly in Q2. But that is the only (i can't even say honorable) exception. Otherwise show me how many times SOFAD has been provided in quarterly manner.

Q,
My last post had absolutely nothing to do with spec.
( It was directed towards CO )
As far as CO is concerned , I thought it is fair game to criticize based on Job performance.

Anyway this forum belongs to you and you can prefer to have whatever type of speech you want and set your own criteria. ( even though if it were the govt. i perhaps would have exercised my first amendment without any threat ).

While I definitely gained quite a bit of insight from the forum ( i especially joined after spec broke the FB SO news before anyone did and referred few others ) I think I should just stay awayfrom the forum unless some very imporatant question needs to be answered at somepoint ( I personally like opinion of some experts here more than few attorneys ).

I cannot read GRP's mind but the way i understood his post is : GRP was addressing CO and not in anyway criticizing spec

Indiani,

One comment I want to make on highlighted line. I think you misunderstood Q;s message. Q never thought that it is his blog or acted in that way. I'm a reader of this blog from the first day (I think 2010) when Q, Spec, Teddy, initiated the healthy blog. This is one of the healthiest forum outhere especially issues considering immigration.

moderators, pls divert these to relevant threads so that we are focused on calculations and predictions

Indiani

Q/Spec or other old members of this forum never wanted to screen the language or posts. First amendment is very well protected here :)

I think it's not fair to say Q asked you with the capacity of owner. I would say samething. You don't have to be moron to accept the date movement till Apr2010 during last year, even making C won't make anybody moron. When dates are current the priority is given as per RD not with PD and CO followed the same. Last year movement provided relief to many Indian nationals with EAD/AP which is what many post Apr2010 till Current PDs want.

Yes, I agree both the posts have nothing related to Spec. Its not the mistake of Q either, when we read them just once, it appears to sound different, but for sure it is a straight forward CO bashing.

Q,

Many of our lives are stalled in the pursuit of becoming a legal immigrant in this country, all your advices like making sure the GC journey shouldn't affect our career growth or personal happiness makes no sense at all for most of us here. It affects for sure irrespective of your level of profession afterall there is a little a difference in tolerence level , thats it.

The chief of Visa office was completely wrong being out of picture in the entire process. If an Adj orders a visa number he got it without any objection .

Short time memory loss syndrome affected the entire Visa Office to just forget one per country limitation clause page (of INA). It is a blunder worth of testimony before congress :).

@indiani - perhaps it was my mistake to club you with GRP. Sorry about that.

This forum certainly is - for now - privately owned by me. But I had nothing of that sort in my mind when I asked to keep it civil.

I have expressed desire in the past to form a not for profit that can own the forum and run it. There is some minimal bureaucratic work to maintain a 501C organization. So I will encourage people to think about it again. After a while I will move this to a new thread where we can open it up for discussion. All thoughts are welcome.

Hey Q - Why me? - I was bashing CO too - I have nothing against Spec - in fact I have a huge respect for him/her.

You all know - I have been bashing CO right from day one - again just for fun - don't reveal my identity to CO, I'm yet to get my GC :p
