I'm a paralegal with an immigration firm and I'm trying to find out if any other attorney or paralegal has had a similar issue with the Texas Service Center.

We've submitted a few applications and petitions and every so often, there is an issue with the Texas Service Center (and it's only SRC for some reason). The most recent issue concerns an EOIR-42B. It was submitted in accordance with the specific Instructions and mailed to the correct address per those Instructions (available on USCIS.gov). It was returned and the rejection notice stated that SRC did not have jurisdiction to process that application. I called Customer Service and the agent, after some digging, confirmed SRC was the correct service center. He stated that it was just an error, to include a cover letter with this information and it should be fine. A week later, we get the same thing back with the same rejection notice. I call Customer Service again and relay all of this information to them (and check USCIS.gov again to make sure everything is up to date). The agent, again after some digging, comes back and says the same thing. He said he can send an inquiry to bring this to the attention of someone at SRC, but thats about it. Has anyone else had this issue or a similar issue with SRC? zzxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxs1
