Hi, My company has just been acquired by another company. The details around change of company name are not clear yet. I am currently working on H1b and have an approved I-140 (PD: 08/2010). My question is - what happens after a company is acquired? Will I need to transfer my H1b and will the new company need to apply for my Labor Certification and I-140 again? Do the rules change depending on whether the name of the company which pays me changes vs remains the same?
My current H1b is valid till May, 2014. Please let me know if any further details are needed. Any help will be highly appreciated.

ipoh,
welcome to forum. Your new company needs to file successor in interest on your approved I-140.
Otherwise - if 6 months are already passed since filing 485 then you can simply use AC21.
