Guys,

My spouse is EB2 I 485 approved , I now have EAD with AP . Although I'm on H1b with my ER. My spouse started an LLC and works through the LLC with the client . In the LLC I'm also a minority shareholder while primary with GC is a majority.

If I want to switch , as a dependent EAD approved , can I work as a consultant through my LLC and draw salary on W2 . Are there any constraints.

Sorry please feel free to move this to post 485 thread .

Regards,

If you are a dependent EAD holder, you actually have less constraints as compared to the primary. You can work for the said LLC and draw salary without any issues. You are free to take up any post in your LLC .

Of course, make sure you talk to a lawyer and get his/her professional advice.
