Hi Guys! Thought of opening a thread to find out some opinion among fellow members about the best atta available in USA.
I am currently using Laxmi brand. Please share your inputs. Thanks!

I get the Golden Temple brand. I believe it is Canadian, but is available in all the Asian market stores in MSP. The flour is good and as far as I know no detritus or anything nor has it upset my tummy.

My wife gets the Sujatha Brand and sometimes the Nature's Best (or some similar sounding name) which seem to be tasty enough.

I second that. Sujatha is the best but is not always available. We generally substitute with pilsbury. But we stopped using golden temple.

p.s. - It's funny -- i never thought this thread would receive any serious response!

Friends +1 for Sujatha we have been using it all through our stay in US. We did try other brands in between but Sujatha seems to be the best according to my dear wife.

Hmmm... must try Sujatha then. Will check the local ethnic stores.
